Welcome to the Therapy Network North East
This network is for qualified and soon to be qualified counsellors, therapists, psychotherapists and psychologists. We're more than just professional development. We're a supportive community dedicated to peer support, meaningful connection, and self-care for therapy professionals. We know the therapy world can sometimes feel isolating, we felt it too. That's why we created our networking events.
We hold face-to-face therapist networking events across the North East quarterly and run Facebook and LinkedIn groups to support our network. We create a welcoming, relaxed space where practitioners can come together to build referral networks, learn about CPD opportunities in the North East, and find genuine support whether you're in an organisation or private practice.
Our next networking event is on Friday 5th December, 10:15am–11:45am, at Ouseburn Farm, Newcastle upon Tyne (NE1 2PA)
This time, we’re joined by Helen Gifford, counsellor, supervisor and author of A Practical Guide for Working Therapeutically with Teenagers and Young Adults. With nearly 20 years’ experience supporting young adults, Helen brings valuable insight into the realities of working therapeutically in today’s complex world.
